Today we took a step into the past and discovered the hidden wonders of an old bank. Our first discovery was the bank's main vault which was located in the basement.
To open the heavy vault door we had to turn the wheels to release the bolts. Once inside our second discovery was a smaller safe which was probably used to store the bank's cash. Our third discovery was found in the loft space (this was my favourite). A fully working mechanical winding clock powered by weights and pulleys. What a find! It’s now time to see if we can make new compliment old! If only all site visits were this exciting! Which was your favourite discovery? #LostInTime #ForgottenTreaturs #ArchitecuralGems #NottinghamArchitects
